Bleachers

If you're a football lover, then you should read this novel. It tells a story about Eddy Rake (his kids-Spartan's-memories), the greatest football coach that has take Messina Spartan to be the best team for many years.

Neely Crenshaw is one of the best quarterback of Messina Spartan. Fifteen years later has been passed till that glory days, and Neely comes hone to Messina to attend coach Eddy Rake's funeral, the man that makes Spartan becomes the best football team that never lose.

Now, when coach Eddy Rake's kids gather at the stadium, wait all of lamp fade as a sign that Eddy Rake has been passed away, they re memorize all of long ago competition, remember their best time, and try to decide whether they love Eddy Rake or even hate him. Because at that time reveals one big dark secret that always haunted all of them.

What's the real secret? Can Neely Crenshaw forgive his coach?
The answer is in this novel, what a great novel for football lover (but I don't think so for you that don't like it).
Honestly I can't read this novel smoothly, because I'm not a football lover, and for sure I don't know foot ball at all. This is not a popular sports in Indonesia.
