Weep No More My Lady

By Mary Higgins Clark

Another crime novel by Mary Higgins Clark, don't know why I like it very much. She is a bright author, all the tense and conflicts make me addicted to her novel.

This novel tells a story about Elizabeth Lange that wants to know who is the real killer of her older sister, famous actress Leila Lasalle. She's been found fall from her penthouse balcony and her fiancee Ted Winters (the business king) has been accused killed her.

One day she's been invited to the Cypress Point (a number one spa at the California), the owner, Baron and Baronnesse Helmut von Schreiber are her and her sister's best friend (they also the one that offer Leila's first job that makes her a famous actress). Here she wants to do her own investigation, she's not sure Ted Winters really kills her sister, so she wants to investigate it at the Cypress Point.

The thing becomes more tense and more tense, when Elizabeth's found many things that not suitable from her expectation.

Who is Leila's real killer?
Her own fiancee Ted Winters that has been dumped few hours before the murder?
Her best friend that own the spa, Baron and Baronesse Helmut von Schreiber that has an economical problem?
Her manager Syd that also has been dumped few hours ago?
Another actress that is also Leila's enemy, Cheryl?
Or maybe Craig, Ted's vice that always becomes Ted's shadow?

What an interesting story, it makes me feel so enthusiastic from the beginning till end of the novel. What a great novel.
